Programs & Schedules
Students are grouped into classes by age. The teacher-to-student ratio is low compared to the state of Georgia requirements. Two, three, and four-year olds must have reached that age by September 1st of the current year. Classes are conducted research style using the environment as the 3rd teacher. Children as little scientists themselves engage in project-based research, working individually or in small or large groups.
Children are engaged in various indoor and outdoor activities emphasizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), with the goal of imitating real life situations. Our highly qualified staff actively seek to cultivate the children's curiosity, thereby enhancing their learning and intellectual development.
Outdoor activities include gardening, conducting experiments, carpentry, architecture, designing and building, etc. Children construct various creations using materials from nature, which stimulates their curiosity.
What is Brilliant about our programs?
Inter-generational interaction is promoted as elderly visitors are invited to come share their wisdom with the children through storytelling, sharing, reading etc.
Programs and learning materials are cleaned daily.
Lessons are research-based and hands-on activities are emphasized.
Children enjoy their lunches or snacks (picnic-style) outdoors when weather permits.
Rain boots, raincoats, and scientist lab coats are required.
